Merino Wool is a type of material that comes from the Merino Sheep and is renowned for its exceptional properties. Among these properties are its fantastic softness, shine, and breathability. The fibers of Merino wool are softer, finer, and more sensitive than many other fabrics. We carry the lowest micron count (14.1 to 15 microns) and for this superfine Merino, only 9-10 bales are produced per year.

Each Skein: Worsted weight (4/18) 2 OZ (56grams ) and 275.60 yards

Yarns are 1oz 28 grams lace weight and 217.41 yards per ball.

The size of the needles/crochet and gauge really depend on the pattern.

We have projects that use size US 00 all the way to size US 7, the size most common is US 5 or 3.75mm.

We recommend washing your knitwear hand in lukewarm water. Dry flat and under no circumstances should you dry it on any heat source.

It will naturally become softer and fluffier with each wash.
