I am knitting this beautiful shawl in Windy Valley Suri Alpaca and love its texture and drape! The pattern is clearly written and also charted. The lace stitches are interesting and pretty but not complicated so are easily memorized for a quicker knit. The Suri Alpaca yarn is soft and light but also surprisingly strong and creates great stitch definition for lace knitting. The Suri Alpaca comes in many beautiful colours but I chose neutrals using 2 skeins of Oatmeal 3010 and one of Natural Winter 6002 and alternating shades in some of the blocks. This is one of the loveliest accessories I have knitted in Windy Valley yarns!
