Great pattern just don’t start it on a plane as I did . I kept dropping stitches .I had to restart ! But once on the ground it was smooth knitting . I gave it for a gift . My friend loved it .

This is the perfect project for a skein of qiviut. The double layer makes for a lovely warm ear protector.

I knit this headband flat, according to the instructions. If I were to knit it again I would definitely knit it in the round, thereby eliminating the mattress stitching around the circumference. This is because the stitching around the circumference must be fairly loose to allow the band to stretch comfortably over the head. If knit in the round this wouldn’t be as issue. The finished product is soft, cozy and very warm!!!

This is a beautifully written pattern that produces wonderful results. Thank you so much for helping me to use the Qiviut yarn I have been cherishing for many years. The headband was a perfect gift for my daughter.

This pattern knits up easily and is perfect for Qiviut.

Have not started, did another that was a scarf ,with quvit, turned out beautifully
