Fanny Cowl

WARNING: This pattern would only work with the Bison Variagated Blend or Royal Blend, any other yarns will not have the give and will knit a much narrow cowl.

My friend Fanny, is a great knitter and baker but she never follows a pattern or recipe, so she showed me this cowl she created with our Bison Variegated Blend, and I thought: that is an intriguing stitch...our crocheters will love it!. Here to one skein crochet project.

Skill Level: Easy-Intermediate
Hooks: US F/3.75 mm,
US H/5.00 mm (for casting only)
Yardage: 217.41 yards, 1 skein (1OZ)
Yarn: Bison Variegated. Shown in SC907 Northern Night
Measurements: 18" Wide on the top x 10" Length x 13.5" Wide on the bottom

Measure before you start.

The pattern is way off on the number of stitches needed. It says to start with 85 but many more are needed to make it fit over anyone’s head. I thought perhaps it would stretch but I am go g to have to start the project all over again. Very disappointed.
